Scaling with Google’s New Cloud Identity for Customers & Partners (CICP) (Cloud Next ’19)
Mailjet is Europe’s leading email service provider for teams. As an ISO27001-certified and GDPR-compliant company (fully hosted on Google Cloud Platform) it would be an understatement to say that we take Data Security seriously. This is one of the major reasons why Mailjet will be among the first major companies to migrate to Google Cloud Identity for Customers and Partners (CICP) beginning January 2019. When we say migrate, we mean a user base of more than 600,000 accounts and 50,000 active monthly customers!
Sign-in to Mailjet is currently based on a home-grown system. It’s now become critical to give our users (companies such as Microsoft, KIA Motors, TAGHeueur and more) a better experience. On the user side, it’s access to login using your Google or Social Accounts. From a company perspective, it’s the security of 2-Factor Authentication and data minimisation by connecting via SAML.
Pierre Puchois, CTO Mailjet and former speaker at Google NEXT London are excited to be one of the first to endorse CICP and share first-hand experience on what it takes to do a migration of this scale.

How HP Modernized Its IT with Microservices and API Management (Cloud Next ’19)
More and more enterprises are transitioning from monolithic applications to microservices architecture as a new, agile way of building and scaling applications. In order to extend the value of microservices to other teams, partners, and external developers securely, enterprises need to rely on APIs. Using API management for microservices, a business can gauge the reliability of its services, gain insights into how developers are adopting its APIs and microservices, and control who can consume corporate digital assets.
Join this session to learn about how to securely expose and manage microservices as APIs and share them with developers inside and outside the enterprise with the Apigee API management platform.
